Overview
Café Bouffon is seeking a friendly and efficient Runner to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry, working alongside talented culinary and service professionals in a vibrant setting. Prior experience in food service, customer service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. A strong focus on hospitality, communication skills, and food safety standards is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Assist servers with refills, and special requests to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including clearing plates and resetting tables
- Restock supplies and assist with general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is a plus, but not necessary
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Guest services orientation with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
- Reliable team player with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
