About TrueLeaf Petcare
TrueLeaf Petcare is a Canadian pet supplement company focused on creating natural supplements and treats that help dogs live healthier, happier lives. Our products are carried by pet specialty retailers across Canada through a network of distribution partners. We're looking for a highly organized and personable Retail Account Coordinator to help us strengthen relationships with retailers and expand awareness of our products.
About the Role
The Retail Account Coordinator will contact pet retailers across Canada to verify product availability, update account information, identify sales opportunities, and educate stores on how to purchase TrueLeaf products through our distributor network.
Responsibilities
- Contact pet retailers by phone, email, and other channels
- Confirm whether stores currently carry TrueLeaf products
- Verify product assortment and identify out-of-stock situations
- Inform retailers which distributors carry TrueLeaf products in their region
- Answer basic questions about TrueLeaf products and programs
- Identify opportunities for increased distribution or product placement
- Maintain accurate records of all retailer interactions in CRM systems
- Provide regular reports on retailer feedback, opportunities, and market trends
- Support sales and marketing initiatives as required
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow processes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Customer service, inside sales, account management, or retail experience is an asset
- Experience with Shopify or Amazon is an asset
- Experience in the pet industry is an asset but not required
What Success Looks Like
- Retailer database remains accurate and up to date
- Strong relationships are maintained with pet retailers
- Retailers understand where and how to purchase TrueLeaf products
- Distribution opportunities are identified and communicated to the sales team
- Consistent outreach activity and reporting are completed each week
