Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sales and Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and sales activities within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with customer sales and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse logistics, mechanical systems, and sales support.
Duties
- Visit clients to promote Guelph Wholesale Tire in both sales and order completion fashion
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as inventory management, order picking, packaging, and shipping & receiving
- Support order fulfillment by selecting products using order pickers and ensuring accurate packing for shipment
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with sales team to support customer orders and coordinate delivery schedules
- Assist in construction or assembly projects within the warehouse or related facilities as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or manufacturing environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packaging, and inventory management
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload materials regularly
- Prior experience with construction or manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid certification for forklift or crane operation is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
