Logistics & Customs Analyst to join a leading organization in Mississauga. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in transportation, customs compliance, and international trade.
In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring products move efficiently across borders while maintaining compliance with Canadian and U.S. customs regulations. You'll also have the opportunity to identify cost-saving initiatives, improve logistics processes, and collaborate with carriers, brokers, and cross-functional teams.
- Pay Rate: $80,000 to $85,000

Responsibilities:
Logistics & Transportation
- Monitor and track inbound freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proactive resolution of delays
- Coordinate shipments to support customer requirements and business operations
- Schedule and communicate daily shipment activity with warehouse teams
- Manage freight claims for damaged, lost, or missing shipments
- Investigate carrier performance issues and support service improvements
- Review transportation invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
- Analyze transportation spend and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Support logistics projects, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Customs & Trade Compliance
- Prepare, maintain, and respond to CUSMA/USMCA Certificates of Origin
- Support the timely reporting and payment of duties, taxes, and surtaxes
- Serve as a key contact for customs-related inquiries and audits
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and cross-border shipping requirements
- Maintain accurate HS tariff classifications and supporting documentation
- Support customs audits and maintain audit-ready records
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, customs, or international trade

Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field

Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs compliance

Experience with CUSMA/USMCA certifications and HS classifications

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is an asset

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
