Gold Silver Guy is a family run business. We have four locations, here in Qualicum Beach BC, two locations in Nanaimo BC and one in Duncan BC. We deal in precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) as well as coins, bank notes and jewelry. We try to always have fun at work and you never know what each day will bring.

Seeking detail oriented self starter for customer service work. We are a coin and bullion dealer that also works with jewelry and precious metals. We are looking for somebody who can handle the meticulous work of sorting coins, jewelry and gold/silver as well as dealing with customers. We will teach you everything you need to know! This person must possess some computer skills and be friendly enough to handle customer service.
Job Description :
- Working with the public instore and online
- Answering telephones
- Working on the computer
- Doing research on inventory
- Organizing inventory
- Cleaning/tidying showcases
- Willing to work with others, as well as alone
- Dealing with cash/debit/credit
- Dealing with gold and silver
- Dealing with coins/bullion/bank notes/jewelry
Qualifications :
- Grade 12 graduate
- Cell phone/Home phone (verifiable phone #)
- Outgoing personality
- Comfortable speaking to customers
- Comfortable answering the telephone
- Must have basic computer skills
- Photography skills an asset
We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. We are never open Sunday's or holiday's.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
