Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Wedding Photographer to capture the special moments of our clients' most memorable day. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. This role involves capturing stunning images without the editing and management of clients that comes with having your own business. Experience with professional photography equipment is essential to produce compelling visual stories for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Attend wedding days and receptions to photograph key moments, candid interactions, and group shots.
- Coordinate with company to understand their vision and specific photography needs for each wedding day.
- Manage and operate professional camera equipment, ensuring optimal settings for various lighting conditions.
- Maintain organized digital archives of all images for easy retrieval and client access.
- A typical day would be approx 10 hours covering everything from getting ready photos into the reception/party
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a wedding photographer or in a similar professional photography role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in wedding photography
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings during wedding seasons.
- Knowledge of professional photography equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
- Solid understanding and confident shooting in manual in any scenario
- Creative eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through imagery.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
