Job description
ALM Energy Services Inc. is currently searching for a hard-working and dependable Red Seal plumber to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete rough-in plumbing for new construction and renovations
- Prioritize and complete service calls when required
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Supervise and mentor apprentice plumbers when required
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and a well-inventoried company vehicle
Skills and Qualifications:
- Red Seal Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in residential plumbing and drain cleaning are considered an asset
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work schedules
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Training in WHMIS, First Aid, and Fall Protection considered an asset but would be provided if required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Malagash, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)
