Position Overview
Lion Guard Security is hiring professional and reliable Security Guards for bars, nightclubs, concerts, private events, festivals, and special events. Guards will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests, staff, and property while providing exceptional customer service and enforcing venue policies.
This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism under pressure, and the ability to work in fast-paced nightlife and event environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Conduct ID checks and crowd control duties
- Prevent disturbances, fights, theft, and unauthorized access
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and intoxicated individuals professionally
- Complete incident reports and daily activity reports accurately
- Work closely with venue management, event staff, and emergency services
- Enforce venue policies, liquor laws, and safety procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence
- Perform bag checks and patrols when required
- Assist with emergency evacuations and medical incidents
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (mandatory)
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (mandatory)
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
- Availability for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Previous bar, nightclub, or event security experience is considered an asset

Schedule
- 5 to 12-hour shifts
- Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available
