Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in food service, customer interaction, and restaurant operations. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions efficiently while providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy hours
- Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed
- Handle cash register operations accurately and responsibly
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or cashiering is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is beneficial but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry and upselling techniques
