Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Repair or replace components such as powertrain parts, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) sensors.
- Perform wheel alignments, brake repairs, welding, and other mechanical tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to complete repairs with precision.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and service recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair procedures.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus.
- Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and alignment procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience for accurate repair assessments.

Pay: $23.18-$47.33 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- diagnostics, electrical issues & mechanical inspection: 8 years (preferred)
