Job Duties and Expectations
- Operate company crew truck for travel to and from work sites.
- Operate ancillary equipment on work sites such as Flushing truck, or CCTV Unit.
- Load and unload materials.
- Lay-out safety equipment and assist Operators in inspection and flushing operations.
- Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment.
- Assist operator to secure attachments to equipment.
- Practice proper, legal load securement at all times.
- Assist operator with proper daily care and maintenance of equipment
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Adhere to all policies and instructions provided in InfraHydro’s Operating Manuals and standard work procedures.
- Maintain a positive public image of the company with appropriate personal conduct and by operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- CLASS 5 Drivers License
- The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate swamping experience in any of the following professions or similar industries:
- CCTV Operation & Pipeline inspections
- High Pressure Jetter Operation
- Vacuum Loading
- CSTS (Construction Safety Training), First Aid, Confined Space, TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) safety certifications an asset.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs.
- Punctual and reliable to meet work schedule needs.
- Ability to work out of town, if required.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned.
- Proficient spoken and written English.
