We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Auto Body Technician to join our team. Experience back home is acceptable.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, with experience in a dealership or similar environment. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition after accidents or damage, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs
- Perform bodywork, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer
- Paint vehicles using spray guns and ensure a smooth finish
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to meet repair deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques
Experience & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various issues
- Familiarity with dealership environments is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to auto body work
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience from back home is acceptable
- Own tools required for the role
