Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience with industrial equipment, particularly in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery such as Excavators, Heavy Duty Trucks & Trailers, miscellaneous small equipment or vehicles. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Must have own vehicle as there is no bus service. Valid driver's license. Good physical condition, reliable, punctual.
5 days a week, some weekends or evenings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators and other industrial machinery.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic, specifically with heavy equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
