Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. We are a hot bustling, brunch spot and looking for someone who loves early mornings and having evenings off for their family and friends. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience, and excellent communication abilities. Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage marketing strategies, events, and inventory control
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and sales performance
- Conduct hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training & development of team members
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and analyze data to inform strategic decisions
- Oversee purchasing decisions and POS system management to optimize inventory levels and sales efficiency
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Foster a positive store environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Strong leadership with proven supervising experience in retail or store management
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Expertise in hospitality, restaurant marketing strategy, sales management, and marketing techniques
- Skilled in POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
- Sound organizational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Ability to oversee store operations while managing budgets and controlling costs
- Strong math skills for financial analysis and pricing strategies
- Effective phone etiquette and organizational skills for administrative functions
