Overview
We are seeking experienced and dependable Insulation Installers to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and building code compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects with a professional team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and safety.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut insulation materials accurately according to project specifications
- Install various types of insulation (batts, spray foam, blown-in) in walls, attics, floors, and ceilings
- Use hand tools such as knives, staplers, drills, and caulking guns to secure insulation in place
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine insulation placement
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure airtight insulation installation
- Collaborate with other construction trades to coordinate work effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed on job sites
Skills
- Proven experience with insulation installation or related construction work
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction projects
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting materials
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of safety standards related to construction sites
