Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assemble parts according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and professionally.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive components as required during repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for vehicle systems.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of job responsibilities.
- Previous experience working in a dealership environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
