Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AMS or AMI certified Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for young children and supporting their developmental growth. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring all children receive appropriate care and attention.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in accordance with licensing regulations.
- Incorporate educational activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage early learning skills such as language development, motor skills, and social interaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to various developmental stages.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Compassionate nature with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements for early childhood education providers.
Pay: $24.00-$29.18 per hour
