About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Plumber (4thYear/Journeyman) to join our team. Experience in residential construction (spec/single-custom/multi-family)—both rough-in and finishing, but just as importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow their skills and take on new challenges.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential plumbing installations, including waterlines and drainage systems, fixtures installations in bathroom, kitchens and mechanical rooms.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to plan and execute plumbing layouts.
- Troubleshoot plumbing systems, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta building codes, plumbing codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
- Ability to work in a team as well as on own.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of plumbing experience in residential construction. Minimum 4th Year Apprentice.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Physically fit with the ability to handle the demands of plumbing work (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of Alberta plumbing codes and safety regulations (required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.45 per hour
