We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused DZ Licensed Driver to join our team and support equipment transportation and customer deliveries.
Position Summary
The DZ Licensed Straight Truck Driver is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, unloading, and delivery of equipment and materials to customer locations and job sites. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining excellent customer relationships while operating company vehicles safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate straight trucks safely and in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations
- Deliver and pick up equipment, machinery, and materials from customer sites
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate inspection logs
- Secure loads properly using straps, chains, and tie-down equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment when required
- Complete delivery paperwork, inspection reports, and customer documentation accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, service, and sales teams regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience transporting heavy equipment, machinery, or construction equipment is considered an asset
- Knowledge of MTO regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards
- Ability to safely operate trailers, lift gates, ramps, and tie-down systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Forklift or equipment operating experience is considered an advantage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required during peak periods
Work Location
- Based in Uxbridge Ontario with travel to customer sites throughout the region
