Overview:
Sanitation worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the facility. This includes cleaning equipment, utensils, production areas, employee welfare areas, and the facility exterior to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Part of a team responsible for the nightly clean of plant (bakery environment)
- Responsibilities include some dismantling of equipment for cleaning
- Use of approved chemicals to clean and disinfect equipment and surfaces
- Disposal of all waste material from processing and pakaging
- Sweep and taski/mop floors
- Washing of utensils in dishwasher
- Refill soap and sanitizer stations
- Report potential issues to management
Skills:
- Previous experience in sanitation, cleaning, or housekeeping in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization procedures in a production facility.
- Ability to follow instructions and SOPs accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

The salary range listed in this posting represents the expected compensation for this position based on market conditions and internal considerations. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role requirements.
