OK Tire Castor is seeking an experienced auto technician to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a technician on our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the vehicles that come through our shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and tire problems in a wide range of vehicles, including agricultural
- Perform thorough inspections to assist our service advisor team explain the work required, in order to maximize profits
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations/repairs, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to further assess vehicle conditions
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards
- Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard and on schedule
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- Contribute to a positive team environment and shop culture by collaborating with colleagues
- Manage your time effectively, filling in potential time lags with shop maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an auto technician
- Proficiency with digital tools, diagnostic software and general computer skills
- Knowledge of software as it pertains to shop work
- Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, interacting with team members, service advisors and customers
- CVIP: Have valid license, or, the ability to be licensed
