We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Lunch Shift Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively during busy lunch hours to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols diligently.
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations during the shift.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume lunch periods effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Kitchen experience or prior food industry background is advantageous but not required.
- Upselling skills to promote menu items and enhance guest experience.
