Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair. This role involves working on various HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Service and repair HVAC systems including heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, tankless water heaters, combi-boilers.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to identify issues.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
- Utilize welding skills for necessary repairs or modifications to HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Collaborate with construction teams on new installations or renovations involving HVAC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during service calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler operations, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with maintenance practices for various HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
