OttawaNPservices is a growing Nurse Practitioner-led PRIVATE medical clinic providing evidence-based, patient-centered care in Ottawa. We offer accessible care for patients who are unable to access timely traditional primary care, including unattached patients, visitors to Canada, international students, and individuals seeking timely consultations and follow-up.
Our clinic focuses on thoughtful, longer appointments, clinical autonomy, continuity, and practical medicine. Services include episodic primary care, chronic disease management, minor procedures, sexual health, preventive care, functional medicine-informed assessments, IV infusion therapy, and medical cannabis consultations.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner interested in working in a modern, independent clinical environment with flexibility and opportunity for professional growth.
Position Type
- Casual / Independent Contractor

- Flexible scheduling depending on clinic growth and provider availability
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver episodic and preventive primary care
- Order and interpret diagnostic investigations
- Perform clinical documentation using Accuro EMR
- Provide patient education and follow-up planning
- Collaborate with external specialists, allied health professionals, and pharmacies when appropriate
- Participate in the development of clinical workflows and patient-centered services

- Functional medicine-informed care

Experience in all areas is not required. Applicants with strong primary care foundations and an INTEREST in expanding skills are encouraged to apply.

This role is best suited for a clinician who enjoys autonomy, thoughtful medicine, and a less rushed patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Extended Class) in Ontario
- Primary Health Care NP certification preferred
- Current professional liability coverage
- Ability to practice independently within the Ontario NP scope
- Experience in primary care preferred
- Asset to have clinical interest, additional training, or developing specialization in a focused area such as mental health, functional medicine, chronic disease management, preventive health, weight management, or skin care.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed individually based on experience, scope of practice, and scheduling availability.
