Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our clients retail operations. Our client, is a Holistic Lifestyle Management Company. They are dedicated to providing people with a space to come together to learn, grow ,share, and experience life. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Manager, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and ensure the store meets its operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise store staff, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Maintain accurate pricing, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide ongoing training & development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a natural health retail environment.
- Post-secondary education fields related to natural health, such as Natural Health, Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Naturopathy, or Homeopathy is an asset.
- Experience working with health food, holistic and natural and organic products is an asset: a passion for the industry and living the lifestyle is critical
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or similar environments with demonstrated success in team management and sales growth
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS systems
- Must be a team player who leads by example and is flexible and adaptable
- Must be willing to learn and grow and foster the same in others
- Must be a creative problem solver ; willing to look for new opportunities for efficiencies in the workplace as well as explore all options when resolving customer issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle phone etiquette professionally
- Must value honesty and integrity; exercises excellent judgment when making descions
