EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A BREWER
Meta Brewing Corporation is seeking an experienced brewer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and very knowledgeable brewer to grow with an established brewery. You will be responsible for the brewing process to ensure the highest standards of quality control, safety, and education are a top priority, as well as many other duties and responsibilities that coincide with a quality-focused company. JOB TITLE: Brewer
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience/qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in the brewing industry.
· Extensive experience in a commercial brewing environment, including fermentation management, cleaning & sanitation SOP’s, cellaring, off-sales packaging, and mechanical troubleshooting in a busy brewing environment
· Superior brewing skills with the ability to execute complex brewing procedures
· Experience with the development, production, and packaging of a variety of beer styles.
· Experience and knowledge of brewing microbiology, biochemistry, yeast management and fermentation operations in relation to quality assurance programs
· Ability to live and work in Canada
POSITION OVERVIEW:
· Responsible for the brewing process
· Maintain a high level of safety standards and develop a company culture of safety
· Ensure all plant operations and procedures are safe, efficient, and effective at all times
· Ensure a consistently high-quality product at all times
· Reports to Brewmaster (Andreas Althof)
· Maintain accurate production and raw material records
· Development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
· Production scheduling and coordination with brewmaster.
· Involvement, in varying degrees, in various brewery activities and community/industry events
COMPENSATION:
· Competitive salary based on previous work experience and expertise ($24-$28/hr)
· Two weeks of paid vacation.
· Standard health and dental benefit package.
· For suitable candidates we'll reimburse relocation costs up to $5000 from other Canadian provinces.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
