Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product features, and driving sales through effective communication and merchandising. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling and suggest complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during peak hours
- Use phone etiquette skills to assist remote or phone-in customers when necessary
- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and ensuring product availability
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related fields preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages relevant to the customer base
- Knowledge of technology sales, product demos, and technical sales techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and store presentation
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong phone etiquette skills for remote customer interactions
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
