Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Advisor - Forklift based in Vancouver OR Edmonton OR Calgary to join our team in. This role will provide advanced technical solutions and support to our West Canada dealer network regarding warranty, service, and product repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical solutions for dealers concerning warranty, service, and repairs.
- Manage communications with dealers to ensure timely technical updates and service call responses.
- Develop, update, and manage technical training materials and product information, ensuring alignment with dealer expectations.
- Investigate quality concerns, collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Oversee quality support activities, such as sorting, containment actions, and data analysis at customer locations.
- Coordinate closely with Factory Product Engineering, Parts, Warranty, and Technical Publications departments for comprehensive support.
- Stay updated on product developments and relay information to dealers.
- Assist the product manager in testing, analysis, and evaluation of failed parts and assemblies.
- Collect and maintain required documentation for analysis, such as Pre-Delivery reports.
- Direct and facilitate dealer training programs, including safety certifications and process validations.
- Be available for after-hours dealer service support.
- Oversee and assign tasks to warehouse staff, managing work orders, and operational activities.
- Perform other relevant duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic or in a similar technical advisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of forklift systems, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Availability for after-hours support.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:
- forklift mechanic: 5 years (preferred)
