Bar Hydraulics Inc. is a leading provider of industrial hydraulic piping systems, proudly serving clients across Canada and internationally. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within the industrial sales sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, Inside Sales provides quality service for existing and new customers, works with the outside sales team to maximize customer service, and provides critical technical support
- Product Sales – Work together with and support the Sales Team with inside sales and product quotes, follow up on pending sales from both vendors and customers
- Process customer orders for the shipping department
- Assist in organizing shipping and preparing shipping documents
- Manage emails and phone calls from customers with a strong sense of urgency
- Assess customer needs and provide product benefits to satisfy those needs
- Follow up on pending sales and ensure timely customer response
- Support outside sales team to maximize customer service and sales opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hydraulics, inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
- High school education (or equivalent) required
- Familiar with product lines similar to industrial hydraulic piping systems
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact and perform successfully within a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Flexible and professional attitude
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Canadian passport is required
- Must be willing to travel when required
- Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
