We’re looking for a experienced licensed hairstylist to join our team!
It is a well established shop with welcoming space, and we have an extra chair waiting for the right person.
Duties
- Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas.
- Sell retail products to enhance client experience .
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience behind the chair.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon setting.
- Experience managing front desk operations including appointment scheduling and payment processing is preferred.
Product Knowledge
- Knowledge of Aveda products is a strong asset, but we are open to training the right candidate.
Pay structure
Guaranteed hourly wage or commission. Employees receive the greater of the two each pay period.
