Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing manual labor tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to operate hand tools, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. This position offers valuable experience in the construction industry and opportunities for skill development across multiple trades.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support construction activities.
- Support carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution.
- Assist with restoration projects, including surface preparation and painting.
- Support plumbing tasks as directed by skilled tradespeople.
- Aid in flooring installation, tile laying, and other finishing tasks to ensure quality workmanship.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and their proper use.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable transportation or access to job sites; valid driver’s license is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
