JOB SUMMARY:
The Hydrovac Swamper reports to Hydrovac Operator to support the function and operation of Tornado Hydrovac for JATEC projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Availability to work 5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day, depending on job requirements.
- Assist hydrovac operator with hydrovacing underground utilities
- Perform physically demanding construction labour work.
- Working with Hand tools and power equipment
- Able to work in various climatic conditions and work effectively
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to assigned work
- Practice safe operating procedures and follows Company Policies and Standards
- Other duties as assigned and required for JATEC’s operations and personal development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
- Must have reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be willing to pass pre-access drug and alcohol screening for clients.
- Be able to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
- Outdoor Construction background or telecommunication experience is an asset
- Experience as an Equipment operator for a mini excavator and skid steer an asset
