Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical systems. The Electrician will work on renovation projects, new installations, and troubleshooting electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and repair electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Work on construction sites, renovation projects, or existing facilities to upgrade or replace electrical infrastructure.
- Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) as needed for automation systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or malfunctions.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues with electrical components and systems.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards, including proper grounding and wiring practices.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, contractors, or handyman personnel to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or construction environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems, renovation projects, and industrial electrical components.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Previous handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
