We are looking for a hands-on Food Truck Lead/Supervisor to help manage a well-established food truck in a high-traffic Charlottetown location.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong cooking experience, leadership ability, and a customer-focused approach. In this role, you will work closely with ownership to support daily operations, lead the team, maintain food quality, and help create a positive experience for every customer.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, train, and motivate food truck staff
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing proceduresPrepare and cook menu items to a consistent standard
Ensure excellent food quality, presentation, and customer service
Follow all food safety procedures, including proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and equipment cleaning
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, waste control, and cost management
Support menu planning, daily specials, and promotional ideasHandle cash procedures, point-of-sale activity, and daily reconciliations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate regularly with ownership regarding staffing, inventory, customer feedback, and operational needs
Qualifications and Experience
Previous cooking or line cook experience required
Prior supervisory or lead-hand experience is considered an assetStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health standards
Valid Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtainStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to lead by example in a busy, hands-on environment
