We are a one doctor independently owned practice in north GTA seeking a part-time RVT. Our clean and modern practice features paperless medical records, diagnostic tools including digital whole-body and dental radiography and onsite handheld ultrasound. Job duties may include but are not limited to:
Venipuncture
IV catheter placement
Surgical preparation, monitoring and post-op care
Performing dental and full body x-rays
Preparing blood, fecal, smear or tissue samples to send to lab
Booking appointments
Animal restraint
Basic husbandry
Administering medication
Client communication
Experience with Avimark is an asset
Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset
Our ideal candidate would preferably have one year experience as an RVT, but new grads are more than welcome to apply. Salary will commensurate with experience. Clinic hours are usually 9am to 6pm. with the requirement to work one to two Saturdays (9am-4pm) a month.
