POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant will support Macaulay’s Information Technology & Systems team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provide support for the IT team in inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and availability of assets.

Assist alongside the helpdesk team to provide first-level technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to software, hardware, and networking.

Create and maintain tracking sheets to track various tasks, exceptions, missing information, etc.

Provide administrative support to IT projects and initiatives as needed
-
General scanning, uploading, filing, archiving and document retrieval
-
Schedule meetings and/or appointments.

Communications tasks as required, including: special events support, documenting IT processes and maintaining up-to-date records of IT assets, etc.

Participate in trainings and meetings as required.

Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Currently enrolled in/graudated from an Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, Project Management, Office Administration, or similar program.
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and software.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in data management.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).

Excellent communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently and productively.

Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check
SALARY: Summer Student Hourly Rate ($22.74/hour)
