Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are cooked to order with attention to quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or spoilage
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
