Main Responsibilities
- Law office front desk duties, including greeting clients, answering telephone calls, responding to inquires, processing payments, posting disbursements, opening and closing files, managing and scheduling meetings, coordinating general office duties
- Preliminary drafting of correspondence and legal documents
- Assisting in book-keeping, handling bills and invoices, drafting cover letters
- Assisting lawyers and team in court-related matters, including preparing application records, books of authority, and other court materials
- Assisting lawyers and team in day-to-day correspondence
- Handling mails and courier
- Organizing and maintaining electronic/physical files and keeping track of incoming/outgoing documents and communications
- Monitoring and procuring office supplies
- Miscellaneous tasks around the office
Minimum Qualification
- Must be fluent in written and oral English
- Post-secondary diplomas/certificates/degrees
- Two years of experience in legal administration
- High proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Acrobat skills
- Familiarity with Unity Accounting (Esilaw) and DivorceMate
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Nice to Have But Not Required
- Fluency in Mandarin or other second language
- Experience in family law or civil litigation
Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills
Expected start date: 2026-06-22 (negotiable)

Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
