Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, POS systems, and effective time management to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Prior restaurant experience is required.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as touch bistro POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and dining space, adhering to food industry standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
- Assist in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the service areas as needed
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items to answer guest questions confidently
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as touch bistro POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle busy environments gracefully
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving or bartending roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in developing their skills in hospitality, serving, or bartending roles
