Power House Construction is a growing residential renovation company based in London, Ontario. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full interior renovations. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to help keep our financial systems organized, accurate, and easy to understand.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and being part of a team that values clear communication and strong organization.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping things stay on track, and understands how important clean bookkeeping is to the success of a growing company.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
In this role, you will help support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including:
- Managing accounts payable
- Managing accounts receivable
- Entering bills, invoices, receipts, and expenses into QuickBooks
- Keeping QuickBooks organized and up to date
- Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Tracking labour, materials, subcontractor costs, and expenses by project
- Supporting job costing and project profitability tracking
- Preparing basic financial reports for management
- Keeping digital records, invoices, receipts, and statements organized
- Following up on missing information when needed

Experience We Are Looking For
- Bookkeeping experience required
- QuickBooks experience required
- Accounts payable experience required
- Accounts receivable experience required
- Payroll experience preferred
- Job costing experience preferred
- Construction, trades, or project-based accounting experience is a strong asset
- Strong spreadsheet skills are an asset
