Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinetry, carpentry, and general construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality installation of cabinets and related fixtures. Candidates should be comfortable working with various hand tools and power tools, and possess a strong understanding of construction standards and safety protocols.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise cabinet placement.
- Measure and mark areas for cabinet installation, ensuring alignment and levelness.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install cabinets securely on walls or floors.
- Assist with related tasks such as drywall repair, painting touch-ups, or minor carpentry as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting of cabinets and materials safely to prevent injury or damage.
- Maintain a clean work environment during and after installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, or related construction fields.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and other relevant machinery.
- Knowledge of construction painting, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, rebar installation, roofing, siding, caulking, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is advantageous.
- Experience with woodworking, concrete forming, manufacturing processes, or handyman tasks is beneficial.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites. Pay: $1,800.00-$2,200.00 per week
