Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter with experience ranging from framing to finish work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in detail-oriented craftsmanship, and values being part of a supportive crew.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential framing, including walls & floors
- Complete finish carpentry tasks such as trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, painting & drywall
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in both framing and finish carpentry
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must be able to commute to job sites near Canning, NS)
- Own tools are an asset

Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment related to finish carpentry.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with restoration techniques and handyman experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and ability to lift heavy materials safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of finish carpentry work.

Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour
