The Commercial team is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by driving revenue growth, acquiring and retaining customers, and providing valuable market insights. Working closely with other departments to align sales strategies with business goals, help shape pricing and product development and keep the company competitive and responsive to market shifts. By building strong customer relationships, maximizing profitability, and identifying new opportunities for growth, the team contributes to both short-term and long-term success.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
This role reports directly to the Tropicana Brands Group (TBG) Canada Head of Commercial & French Operations, with responsibility across Canada. This role will be responsible for standing up Wal-Mart Category Analytics in Canada as well as supporting Commercial Team analytics. He/She will act as the single point category advisor for all the Wal-Mart Canada business. Bilingual with a knowledge of the Wal-Mart systems is a strong asset for this role.

Wal-Mart Canada Analytics:
- Stand up, update and advise Wal-Mart weekly reporting using NielsneIQ and Wal-Mart internal tools (Retail Link).
- Establish, prepare and advise Wal-Mart quarterly business reviews using NielsenIQ and Wal-Mart internal tools (Retail Link).
- Provide planogram recommendations (small, medium and large) that will dictate the execution of the 150 published versions
- Manage Wal-Mart Canada Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR).
- Manage DC inventory levels
- Influence inbound orders to mitigate fines and maximize WM fill rates.
- Facilitate large pushes in preparation for promotions.
- Improve forecasting.
Commercial Analytics:
- Work with the Senior Category Manager to update, analyze, monitor and report on the performance of the company and its competitors to support the execution of corporate performance management and strategy
- Work with the Senior RGM/PPA Manager to provide deep diving pricing analytics/scenarios using the Buynomics platform.
- Work with the Sales Strategy Manager to support innovation launch and tracking
- Provide support in the preparation of annual business planning documents and the Commercial Growth Forum Meeting (CGF)
Other:
- Serve on projects targeting particular improvement opportunities, as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in category management, intelligence analysis, sales or a similar field.
- Excited to influence sales strategy while also rolling up sleeves to conduct hands‑on analytics and drive execution
- Balances speed and accuracy without letting perfection slow progress; comfortable assessing risk and reward to make thoughtful tradeoffs

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in category management, intelligence analysis, sales or a similar field.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Nielsen IQ, customer databases) preferred.
- Experience in CPG or related industry preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual, with a knowledge of the Quebec market preferred.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and handling complex information.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$94,000 CAD annually
