Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations of our bustling cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to create a welcoming environment for guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cafe activities, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
- Oversee food handling and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Interview and hire new staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock.
- Ensure adherence to restaurant management policies and hospitality standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Implement health and safety procedures in accordance with industry standards.
- Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours while maintaining operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, preferably within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Supervising experience with team management skills essential for leading staff effectively.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food industry settings.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to interview, train, and develop team members.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
