ServiceNow is a critical enterprise platform that underpins key workflows and service experiences across Deloitte Canada.
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality platform capabilities while contributing to its evolution, helping ensure solutions are consistent, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
This role is an important stepping stone toward platform leadership, providing exposure to both hands-on delivery and strategic platform thinking within a modern, platform-focused organization.
In this role, you will contribute to the evolution and delivery of Deloitte Canada’s
ServiceNow platform, supporting the development of scalable, reusable, and governed enterprise workflows and service management capabilities.
You will operate in a 60% strategy / 40% hands-on delivery model, contributing to platform planning and design while remaining actively hands-on in delivering and optimizing ServiceNow solutions.
You will work closely with platform leaders, architects, and delivery teams to implement platform capabilities, enforce standards, and drive adoption across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who is developing toward platform leadership, combining strong technical expertise with emerging strategic thinking.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Platform Planning & Contribution
- Contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap, including enhancements, upgrades, and technical debt reduction initiatives
- Support the definition and evolution of platform standards, governance, and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into platform-aligned solutions
- Assist in defining platform capabilities and reusable services (workflows, integrations, shared components)
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for reuse, consolidation, and optimization across ServiceNow implementations
- Support tracking of platform performance and business outcomes (e.g., service efficiency, user adoption)
Delivery & Execution
- Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions across modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, WSD, CMDB, IRM)
- Develop workflows, forms, and integrations using Flow Designer, scripting, and platform tools
- Support Agile delivery by contributing to user stories, backlog refinement, and sprint execution
- Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize workflows, configurations, and performance
- Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with requirements
- Assist in release coordination, testing, and environment management activities
Platform Enablement, Reuse & Standards
- Apply and promote platform standards and guardrails in all implementations
- Contribute to building and maintaining reusable components and standardized workflows
- Support creation of documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials for teams
- Assist in onboarding and enabling delivery teams to effectively use platform capabilities
Shared Services, Architecture & Guardrails
- Support the operation of shared ServiceNow services (e.g., CMDB, integrations, cross-domain workflows)
- Contribute to solution design reviews to ensure alignment with platform principles
- Implement solutions in accordance with security, compliance, and performance requirements
- Follow defined reference architectures and integration patterns
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams
- Build strong working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Communicate effectively on progress, challenges, and solutions

The Deloitte Technology Canada (DTC) Platform Team is responsible for enabling enterprise platforms ensuring they are governed, scalable, and optimized for reuse and quality across the organization.
Platform teams are focused on “enabling at scale”, driving platform ownership, standards, guardrails, and shared capabilities that improve delivery efficiency and outcomes across the organization.
You are someone who has:
- 4+ years of experience working with ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or similar modules)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration and development (Flow Designer, scripting, integrations)
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models, workflows, and platform capabilities
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Ability to contribute to both technical delivery and platform-level thinking
- Strong desire to grow into platform leadership and strategy roles
Technical & Professional Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
- Additional certifications considered an asset (e.g., Certified Application Developer (CAD), Implementation Specialist – ITSM/HRSD/CSM)
- Experience with workflow automation, integrations, and service management concepts
- Familiarity with ServiceNow DevOps practices, release management, and environment strategies
- Strong collaboration skills across business and technical teams
- Ability to work with developers, architects, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
