Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.
- Keep detailed records of all services performed on vehicles for future reference.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently as required by the job duties.
- Familiarity with various automotive repair techniques and technologies is essential.
