Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager of Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the programs and developing an effective learning environment for students.
Program Details
We require faculty qualified to teach across the following areas:
- Aviation Technician – Maintenance
- Aviation Technician – Avionics
- Aviation Technician – Structures
What You’ll Bring
- Licensed Aviation Technician: M, E or S – Maintenance, Avionics or Structures
- Excellent communication, team building and leadership and computer skills are expected
- Prior teaching experience in an academic setting is an asset
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Teaching experience with face-to face and online delivery preferred
- Related industry work experience, previous College or Apprenticeship teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
