You have a particular interest in electronics and wireless communication. You thrive in a fast-paced environment yet are meticulous in your technical decision-making and documentation.
The role:
- This is a hands-on, in-person technical role involving testing and troubleshooting hardware and firmware components of physical devices, as well as troubleshooting the interactions with communication and software infrastructure.
- Lead the quality assurance processes of our full product line, building on current practices to develop a comprehensive QA standard, including the development of test procedures and documentation of test results.
- Carefully maintain a complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits. Documentation of processes and planning. Tracking ongoing tasks and projects.
- Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines.
- Production support (design and build of sturdy and reliable test stations).
- Participate in design activities such as FMEA and DOE
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of problems identified.
- Work closely with firmware developer and product team members during the development phase.
- Able to converse with end-users and project managers regarding the status of troubleshooting tasks and product improvements that are underway.

Requirements and Skills:
- Creation and maintenance of in-depth test procedures.
- Experienced in using Atlassian products such as Jira.
- Electronics hardware troubleshooting skills and experience.
- Hands-on experience including skills like soldering.
- Technical writing and test result documentation.
- Demonstrated interest in IoT and LoRaWAN
- Wireless electronics product troubleshooting and development experience is an asset.
- A collaborative mindset
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practices.
- Experience in the following industries a plus: automotive, aerospace, medical devices
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
