Protrans Personnel is currently hiring for a full-time Dock Loader (Forklift position) in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec.
Position: Dock Loader
Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM
- Friday: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Pay Rate: $20.25/hr (Paid weekly on Friday)
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
- Knowledge of warehouse systems and operations
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Safety-focused mindset
Key Duties:
- Handle and load freight on the dock safely
- Load straight trucks and trailers for specific routes
- Check freight volumes, weights, and reports
- Organize dock area for efficient operations
- Verify freight against bills and manifests
- Ensure proper loading as per weight and space limits
- Operate pallet jack and forklift safely
- Follow all safety procedures and report equipment issues
