Project Manager Job Description
· Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously.
· Develop and manage all aspects of the project from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, scope of work changes, risks and issues
· Prepare and update project schedules and ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards and contractual requirements.
· Manage resources - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project including monitoring of subcontractors.
· Communicate with clients throughout the project life cycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines, provide project updates and approvals.
· Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
· Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations to clients, consultants and Pine Valley senior management
· Monthly progress draws for billing
· Attend project (as required) site meetings
· Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to
· Resolve technical and operational issues as required
· Creating and compiling prequalification bid packages
The successful candidate will have
- Excellent project management skills including prioritization, time management, problem solving skills, scheduling, and documentation.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong grasp of current communication, project tracking, budget management technologies.
- Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.
- Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.
- Willingly mentor more junior team members and share knowledge.
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements
Strong experience in project management landscape architecture an asset
5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services. PMI or PMP certification or similar designation would be an asset but is not required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software programs.

Our organization has substantial experience with all aspects of landscape construction and site development.
Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
